  1. What Is It?
A global edit is a thorough edit wherein the editor reads every line of the provided document. The editor will fix everything included in the mechanical editing service plus the following types of issues: • Voice, tone, style, plot, and/or character inconsistencies. • Redundancy. • Wordiness. • Awkward sentence construction.
  2. What's Included?
When you order a global edit, you will receive the fully edited Word document. Every change will be made with Track Changes on. This gives you, as the author, final say about what changes stay or go. MACE Writing edits according to the 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 and 𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘮-𝘞𝘦𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳.
  3. Not Included?
With a global edit, you will not receive a final report explaining the grammatical rules applied or offering stylistic advice. (For this, please see our educational edit service.) MACE Writing does not provide advice or guidance regarding publishing after the edit is complete.
  4. Benefits?
A global edit gives you the opportunity to have your manuscript reviewed for minor grammatical problems as well as more substantive issues. This is ideal for those in the early stages of the writing process or for those who would like guidance on more subjective issues within their writing.
  5. Price?
A global edit is charged at an hourly rate of $50.
